Hand painted using acrylic paint, these shoes were the original concept for using this koi fish pattern.  The Japanses translates to the Henry David Thoreau quote, "The world is but a canvas to the imagination."

The kanji for the work "dream" accompanies the main koi fish.

The design was later recreated through the use of Adobe Illustrator following the original sketch.
